Axess - Endless Dreams

Axess is Axel Stupplich from Leverkusen/Germany, born in 1967. Since 1985 Axel is occupied on electronic music instruments and computer based sequencers to create his own musical landscapes. He bought his first synthesizer (an Ensoniq ESQ 1 which is still in use !) in 1987 after he had a 6-years education on an electronic organ. For a long time the music from artists as Tangerine Dream, Kitaro, Jean-Michel Jarre and others fascinated him and it was an old wish to make this kind of music by his own. This dream came true when Axel founded the band Digital Dream together with Andreas Morsch in 1988. Until 1992 they recorded in total 5 tapes before Andreas left the band for private reasons. Axel continued alone and released 2 more tapes - "Eclipse" and "Himalaya", the last one re-released on CD-R nearly 8 years later in 1999. In 1995 Axel founded the band Pyramid Peak, first only together with Uwe Denzer, later as a trio with Axels old partner Andreas Morsch. 1998 they released their first CD-R "Atmosphere" followed by the first real CD Ocean Drive on the German label Invisible-Shadows in 1999. Pyramid Peak released 2 more new CDs(Random Events in 2000 and Fish n Love in 2001) and did a couple of Live-Concerts in several European countries. Besides the music for Pyramid Peak Axel was and is still working on his own musical career and his own project AXESS which he started in January 2002. Endless Dreams is from his latest cd "Voices of Dawn". A must for electronic music lovers according to me. http://www.axess-music.de/ part of the video courtesy by European Southern Observatory ( ESO ) .
